Profile of volatile compounds released by Waitea circinata against Magnaporthe oryzae under different periods and temperatures

ABSTRACT Rice blast caused by the Magnaporthe oryzae pathogen is a major disease in this crop, and may cause devastating losses. This study aimed to investigate profile of Waitea circinata mycorrhiza volatile compounds antagonism M. oryzae, under different growth periods temperatures, using completely randomized design. Volatile organic were extracted headspace solid phase microextraction analyzed gas chromatography mass spectrometry, while multidimensional scaling was used compare produced compounds. The main responsible longifolene, trans-β-farnesene, (Z)-α-bisabolene δ-amorphene, which can be as biofungicides incorporated into rice management strategies.
